mega|vention is back in 2022!  Established in 2010 as a regional design, development and construction expo, megavention was an overwhelming success, bringing together the Mid-Atlantic’s top industry related firms. Past mega|vention expos welcomed nearly 200 exhibitors and more than 1000 registrants, and provided relevant educational content, a sold-out golf outing, and an extremely popular cocktail reception.  Once again, the 2022 event will offer a variety of opportunities for networking, exhibition, education, fellowship, and entertainment, with added extra-day activities that are planned to be of interest to a wide variety of attendees.  Our goal is to bring together owners, architects, engineers, contractors, developers, suppliers, and other related professionals that don’t often have the opportunity to gather amongst industry related colleagues.  In today’s fast paced and complex real estate environment, collaboration is the key to success.  And too often our industry tends to silo, with convention and seminar events dedicated to individual professional practices.  In 2010, mega|vention was a welcomed and successful opportunity to break down those barriers, and the time is right to reinvigorate that sense of partnership and teamwork.

mega|vention 2022 will return to the Virginia Beach Convention Center in early October, with a variety of activities occurring between Wednesday, October 5 and Friday, October 7.  Once again, the event will begin on Wednesday with a golf outing and cocktail reception.  The main expo on Thursday will feature breakfast, lunch, and afternoon keynote speakers.  And added to the agenda this year will be a variety of Friday activities, including a distillery tour, more golf, a boat trip to the offshore wind turbines, and others sure to interest everyone.  See the attached sponsorship and calendar flier for more details on the various events.
